Wedding Ceremonies
Reverend Marcia Chapin, D. Div. is an Ordained Interfaith Minister and Justice of the Peace legally recognized by the state of Massachusetts to conduct civil, religious, and spiritual wedding ceremonies. Her simple yet moving ceremonies, personalized for each couple, may be performed at the location of their choice. Reverend Chapin meets with all couples to help create a ceremony for this day of commitment that will be special and unique to them. Their ceremony will be one that is warm, memorable and reflective of the love they share with one another.
Her services are available to all couples.
Marriage Ceremonies include:
Traditional Marriage Ceremony: A non-denominational religious ceremony that uses generic religious wedding elements, rituals, prayers and traditions that are typically common to all Christian-Judeo denominations.
Civil Marriage Ceremony: A secular ceremony that is non-religious in that it uses neither religious nor spiritual references. It is as meaningful as other ceremonies, often containing rituals and readings that are personally significant to the couple.
Spiritual Wedding Ceremony: A non-religious spiritual ceremony that uses wording and rituals which reflect the couple's values. This ceremony centers on the goodness of the human character and the beauty and harmony of a spiritual approach to life. This non-religious ceremony follows the rituals and passages that are specific to the Humanist school of thought.
Renewal of Marriage Vows: A ceremony that provides the opportunity for couples to renew the marriage vows made to one another in the past and to reaffirm the love that has deepened through the years.

Dear Marcia,
Thank you very much for an absolutely beautiful ceremony! Everyone loved it and thought it a very pretty service and that the ceremony we picked was perfect. Thank you again. I am sorry we did not get a chance to talk much after the fact, but it was lovely to meet you and we would definitely recommend you to anyone. You were very helpful and did a great job and you really made our perfect day all that much better.

Dear Reverend Marcia,
We can’t thank you enough for making our daughter’s wedding day so beautiful and memorable. Your invitation for us to share in this special moment made all of us feel such a part of the lovely ceremony you performed. We are so grateful that you were the Minister that P & C selected. We will highly recommend you to all those parents and young couples looking for “just the right person” to marry them. Thank you so much!
